Michelle
has been working on the layout for the text on the Ten
Commandments Window. The text needs to be laid out one
letter at a time onto tracing paper, then transferred
to the resist-covered pieces of glass. After the lettering
has been cut into the resist, using an xacto knife,
the pieces are painted with the fire-on enamel, the
remaining resist is removed and then the pieces are
put into the kiln and fired to an exact temperature
for permanence.
