After
removing the resist completely, the first group of pieces
is placed into the kiln for an overnight firing.
Michelle
completed the layout for the cutting pattern for the second
panel and begins to cut the pieces.
The
painting on the white opal background pieces for the Star
Panel is prepped and begun, here showing the first of fifteen
applications of paint, before the first firing. Each layer
of paint needs to dry at least 20 minutes before the next
coat.
