Below are details of the completed first panel which now stands upright, in studio, in preparation for final cleaning and crating for delivery.
Michelle spent the entire day repainting the large background pieces for the third panel. Due to a strange result, during the kiln firing process, the glass returned from the kiln appeared mottled and degraded in color. All the pieces need to be redone.
David holds a piece of reinforcing steel after bending it to conform to existing lines of the design. Bending the bar into intricate shapes requires considerable skill and patience, as it is done by eye, in a most medieval manner.
