At left is a detail of the Willits City Hall Mural Project, completed, in 1984 as part of the California Arts Council SB1700 Arts in Education Grant.

The above etching of a Pomo Woman was executed by the students of the Willits High School Art Department, under the direction of David and Michelle Plachte-Zuieback, as part of the 35' stained glass mural, which adorns the Willits City Hall Council Chambers.
 

 

The etchings of the "peoples of the world" illuninates the letters of Vveyahavta, L'Reyacha, Kamocha," ("You shall love thy neighbor as thyself.")  Each of the 140 etchings if appoximately 3" in height.
