STAINED GLASS FABRICATION IN PROCESS
July 2, 2003

Today, we all worked on different tasks on the different panels, cycling each panel, carefully through the finishing process.
Every piece is puttied, on both sides of the window
Here, Nathan works on completing the welding of the steel reinforcement to the window
After being bent to the compound curve required, the re-bar is soldered to each joint in the window
This window is masked off, so the rebar can be spray painted black.
The black rebar is visible in the reflected light, while the window is still on the table
Here, Nathan works on the painstaking final cleaning, with the window in the vertical position, in transmitted light.
