STAINED GLASS FABRICATION IN PROCESS

Stained
glass windows are being fabricated for the entrance foyer
to the Shirley Levine Beit Midrash at the Abraham Heschel
Day School in Northridge California, in the studios of
Plachte-Zuieback Art Glass in Santa Rosa, California
Placing
the overlays is the last step in the fabrication, completed
just befoe the windows are crated for delivery
The
overlaid leaves float on the glass and provide a visual
transformation between the sacred and the secular
Work
continues on the backside of the final panel after successfully
turning the window over
